    review: Tactic 2.4ghz radio

Post by haynesn12 on Mon 13 Jul 2009, 8:06 pm

i recently picked up a new tactic 2.4ghz radio from kevin over at granite. this radio is a 2 channel tx that comes with a 3 channel rx. this is a no frills radio but for the price you cant really expect that. it does have steering and throttle trims as well as reversing it also has a steering rate adjustment. the rx is pretty small and has no attenna at all so mounting is easy and you dont have to worry about anntenna tubes.(which is nice for me cause it went in a scaler) i had bought this radio for my jeep cc-01 so i didnt need frills of a dx3r. overall i am very happy with this radio. the feel is very nice and i have had no problems glitching or any range issues. for the price i for sure recomend this radio.

Thats the same thing as my Tower Hobbies 2.4 radio.
For a $79.00 radio its an exelent budget radio and works great.
I noticed much better responce from it over the FM radio I had been using.
The range is awesome, and I cant get over how light this thing is compaired to AM/FM radios I've had in the past.

Would recomend this radio to anyone that needs just a 2ch radio.

I also got the tactic 2.4ghz radio over at granite for my T-Maxx and i havent hade any problums with it yet. I even got brave and tried the Fail-safe and it worked fine. (Thank god! lol) I also like useing 4 AA's instead of the 8 i use to have to use.
