    sound like its the gear mesh in transmission or servo i had the problem and pulled apart the transmision and the shift lever was dried out

    If your going to be tearing into the tranny you should look into a forward only kit. It solves a lot of the t-maxx's tranny issues, is inexpensive, and easy to install.
